A Picturesque evening you won't forget
Our Stone Town Evening Tour gives you the great opportunity to see Stone Town from a unique perspective as the dusk settles over the city and all of its lights come on. Your tour will be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide and you will hear some of the mysterious secrets about Zanzibar. This tour will give you all the information you need to get to know this fantastic city as it comes alive after dark.
The tour will start in the late afternoon in Mlandege, the busy commercial district of Zanzibar Town and will take you towards Darajani District. See how the Zanzibari are bargaining for traditional clothes (e.g. kanga, hijab, burka, kanzu, kofia) and their daily products and goods. Continue wandering with our guide through the historic city of Stone Town and listen to some of the most amazing myths and legends.
The tour will take you to a bustling rooftop bar where with a cool drink in your hand you will watch the sun setting down over the roofs of Stone Town. Hereafter we will continue our tour and stroll towards Forodhani Gardens. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Forodhani food night market with its local and international visitors.
Finally, we will take a relaxing walk along the seafront promenade and admire Stone Town’s historic sites with the Old Fort, House of Wonders and Sultan Palace by night.
