An authentic swahili cooking lesson

Learning how to cook Swahili food will take you on an unforgettable culinary journey.  This authentic experience starts with the visit at the local market to get to learn how the local people source their food products and ingredients for their day meal.

The second part of this journey will take you in preparation and cooking process which makes the Zanzibari cuisine unique. The chef will decide the menu of the day to include typical Zanzibar Swahili dishes like Pilau rice, chicken or seafood cooked in concentrated coconut milk, and many more to include typical Zanzibar desert.
