This tour allows you to peel back the layers on life for women in Zanzibar.
You’ll travel to different villages where local women have started projects to ensure an income, and learn about the handcrafts they produce. A typical lunch is included too. If you want to know more about village life in Zanzibar, this tour gives you a real insight.
After pick-up from your hotel, you’ll head out to different rural villages where women aged between 40 and 80 have set up various projects that allow them to make an income for their families.
You’ll be able to connect with them while learning about their lives and the goods they make.
See how they produce seaweed soaps, baskets, carpets, and belts, and if you decide to purchase something, you’ll be contributing directly to the success of their projects. What’s more, you’ll be served a delectable lunch of typical Zanzibar dishes.
