Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar, followed by a transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll join a shared game drive led by an experienced safari guide, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and many other iconic African animals.
During the safari, you’ll enjoy a short refreshment break with tea or coffee before continuing your wildlife adventure.
At midday, enjoy a delicious bush lunch served in the heart of the wilderness, surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue your game drive before heading to Africa Safari Selous, where you’ll check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
On the second day, start with an early breakfast before transferring to the Rufiji River for a scenic boat safari. Cruise along one of Tanzania’s largest rivers while spotting hippos, crocodiles, colourful birdlife, and wildlife gathering along the riverbanks.
After the boat safari, enjoy a guided bush walk with an armed ranger, providing a unique opportunity to experience the African wilderness on foot while learning about its flora, fauna, and smaller wildlife.
Following the morning activities, you’ll return to the airstrip for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to your hotel, bringing your unforgettable safari adventure to a memorable close.
